26 June 2016 | International Chemistry Olympiad is supported by thr business sector
Preparations for International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO-48) is in its most active phase. As it is known, by the support of the government the International Olympiad in chemistry will be held for the first time in Georgia.
In order to participate in IChO-48 more than 700 representatives from 75 countries will visit Georgia in June 23th – August 1st 2016.
To implement the project effectively Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia dynamically cooperates with the different ministries of Georgia – Ministry of Economic and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Ministry of Labor Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, National Tourism Administration, etc.
To increase more support and additional resources for the purpose, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Alexander Jejelava met the business sector and its representatives today, who are involved in the chemical industry and chemistry in general. As well as those for whom social responsibility is a priority.
According to mister Jejelava, IChO-48 will have a very large-scale support from the business sector and the additional resources will be used to popularize chemistry in the students.
