The Journal of the Georgian Chemical Society (formerly “Georgia Chemical Journal”, established in 2001) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal of a multidisciplinary profile and publishes original research papers and invited reviews that have not been published previously elsewhere, from all branches of chemistry: Theoretical and Mathematical Chemistry, General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioorganic Chemistry, Polymer Science, Electrochemistry, Pharmacochemistry, Environmental and Ecological Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.
The journal is published annually (one volume per year) both in hard printed and electronic formats, and consists of two issues. The 1st issue publishes articles from the best reports of various conferences and symposia held under the auspices of the Georgian Chemical Society and Association of Professional Chemists of Georgia, upon the invitation from the Editorial Board. The 2nd issue is reserved for outstanding original scientific contributions. The publication languages for the 1st issue are English (preferred) and Georgian with English being the sole acceptable language for the 2nd issue.
