Research interest:

Quantum-chemical investigation of mechanisms of reaction of nitrogen containing compounds, including of bases of nucleic acids. Modeling of a proton transfer in processes of tautomeric transformation in biosynthesis amino acids and proteins. A new performances of the mechanism of Fischer's indolization, and also the cyclic dimeric and trimeric mechanisms of a proton transfer in processes of difficult tautomeric transformations by us is offered. As a result of quantitative study of influence of the solvent on a proton transfer between nucleotide bases it can be concluded, that a nucleotide dimer is extended along the intermolecular hydrogen bond in a more polar solvent, whereas this dimer might be contracted in a less polar solvent. Concequently, more polar solvents decrease the spontaneous mutation frequency, whereas this frquency increans in less polar solvents.
