Bio

I was born in France in 1964. I completed my PhD under the supervision of Professor Samir Zard at the École Polytechnique, working on fluorine and alkyne chemistry. In 1993, I started a research group at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées (ENSTA ParisTech), in Paris. I got my Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches in 2001.

Research

We are currently developing new methodologies in organic chemistry. Our research focuses on the development of multicomponent reactions and heterocyclic chemistry involving mainly isocyanides and hydrazones. We have developed various projects in organometallic chemistry as well — metatheses, palladium or copper-catalyzed processes...
